Unilever is looking to divest several tooth-paste brands and other businesses worth a total of $300-400 million, according to a Reuters report.
The potential sale is part of the company’s strategic focus on its 400 core brands, Unilever executives said.
Toothpast brands potentially up for sale include Mentadent, Pepsodent and Close-Up.
Unilever executives said that the company will continue to unload under-performing brands in favor of high-margin hair and skin care brands.
