Sixty percent of American women have given up on their skin care products for various reasons, mostly because the products did not live up to their claims according to a survey by Harris Interactive for Power Paper’s PowerCosmetics division, Tel Aviv, Israel. More than 1,500 women polled said other reasons included results that didn’t justify the expense (36%), not visible enough results (30%) and took too long to work (17%).
