l Bob Woodward, assistant managing editor of the Washington Post and co author of nine best-selling nonfiction books and Hal Stratton, Consumer Products Safety Commision’s (CPSC) chairman, will be keynote speakers at the 90th annual CSPA meeting. The meeting is set for Dec. 7-11 at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and Spa, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Mr. Woodward and Mr. Stratton will address the annual meeting general session Dec. 8.
Mr. Woodward has worked for the Washington Post since 1971. Along with Carl Bernstein, he broke the story of the Watergate break-in that ultimately brought down the Nixon presidency.
Mr. Stratton became chairman of the CPSC in 2002. He heads up the Federal agency responsible for protecting the public against unreasonable risks of injuries and death associated with consumer products. More info: www.cspa.org.
