l Aloecorp, Broomfield, CO, presented the International Aloe Science Council (IASC) hall of fame award posthumously to Yun Ho Lee, who served as chairman of the board of the Namyang Aloe family of companies in Seoul, Korea until his death in 1996.
The award recognizes of the contributions and advancements made in the aloe and health industries as a result of Mr. Lee’s pioneering vision and commitment to quality. The honor was presented during a banquet dinner on Oct. 18 during the 22nd annual IASC scientific seminar in Las Vegas.
IASC managing director Gene Hale said, “Thanks to chairman Lee’s foresight and countless efforts, tremendous strides continue to be made in the aloe industry, fulfilling his dream and the dream of many, and positively affecting the health of the world.”
