CCL Container’s director of technical ser- vices, Scott Schneider, recently became the first guest lecturer at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), New York, to speak on the topic of aerosol packaging technology.
Mr. Schneider instructed Packaging Materials II, a class of 30 students, as part of the Consumer Specialty Product Association’s (CSPA) outreach initiative, a program designed to raise student awareness of job opportunities within the industry.
The lecture featured a PowerPoint presentation covering the principles behind aerosol packaging technology, including aerosol container “anatomy,” aerosol’s inherent strengths, an overview of the manufacturing process and a discussion on the latest tends in container shapes.
