Dial Stockholders Approve Henkel Merger

The Dial Corporation’s stockholders have approved the merger agreement entered into by Dial and Henkel in December 2003.
Holders of approximately 63.6% of Dial’s outstanding common stock voted on the merger. Of the outstanding shares that were cast at the meeting, 98.8% voted in favor of the merger with less than 1% voting against, the companies reported.
The closing of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
