Firmenich Patents Esters For Clothing Treatment

Patent No. US 6,677,297 B2: Researchers for Firmenich SA, Geneva, Swit-zerland, patented a process to perfume textiles. Clothing is washed by detergent and fabric softener containing esters with a secondary carbamoyl function, which can be used as odorant alcohol precursors.
