Gillette To Launch Two Oral-B Products

The Gillette Company, Boston, MA, a glob-al leader in the $5 billion manual and power toothbrush market, will launch two new power rechargeable toothbrushes under its Oral-B banner.
The new Oral-B Professional Care 8000 features rotating oscillation, speed control, an ergonomic handle and multiple brush heads and accessories. The new Oral-B Sonic Complete, Gillette’s first entry into the sonic category, has three brushing modes, Oral-B’s CrissCross bristles, and a slim, lightweight handle for better comfort and control.
“We recognize that not one form of toothbrush fits all consumers,” said Bruce Cleverly, president, Gillette oral care. “As the worldwide leader in oral health, we want to provide consumers with a complete portfolio of top-performing products in all brushing segments—manual, battery, oscillating-rotating and now sonic.”
Set to debut in North America in August, Professional Care 8000 Series and Oral-B Sonic Complete will range in price from $99.99 to $119.99.
