Patent No. US 6,736,862 B2: Henkel, Düsseldorf, Germany, patented a hair coloring method by applying a compound with an indole or indoline derivative as a melanin precursor; an oxidation dye precursor of the secondary or primary intermediate type or an indole or indoline derivative as a melanin precursor, and a structural element, a direct bond or a spacer group.
