How Fashion Shapes Color Cosmetics

Although fashion trends from influential European textile shows in Milan and Paris will eventually trickle down into color cosmetics, the process can take at least six months to reach beauty products, according to experts. Haircuts take even longer to get to the masses, approximately one or two years. Some fashion executives admit certain makeup looks never make it to the consumer level at all. Smaller companies have the upper hand in delivering more on-trend colors to consumers with higher speed-to-market production schedules.
