ISP Acquires Red Carnation Gums

Wayne, NJ-based International Specialty Products’ (ISP) subsidiary, ISP Food Specialties UK Ltd., acquired the business and assets of Red Carnation Gums Ltd. (RCG), excluding its tea warehousing business. RCG’s headquarters and manufacturing facility are located in Essex, UK.
“ISP continues to seek bolt-on acquisitions of companies that have high value food ingredients and specialty chemical products with strong technical competencies,” said Sunil Kumar, president and chief executive officer, ISP. “Acquiring the business of RCG further strengthens our global food ingredient business.”
