SOUTH KOREA: Symrise’s UVA II filter, Neo Heliopan AP, was approved in South Korea, effective in January. South Korean authorities do not define an upper limit for UV filters, but manufacturers must register the finished formulation with the Korean Food and Drug Administration (KFDA).
In Europe, Brazil and South Africa, Neo Heliopan AP has been approved for use as a UV filter since 2000, with a maximum concentration of 10%.
