Run/Walk for Charity Planned for In-Cosmetics

November 15, 2005

Milan’s largest park, Parco Sempione, will serve as the site of the Uniqema-sponsored New Ideas 5K Run/Walk for Charity, to be held April 28. The Run/Walk takes place during In-Cosmetics, set for April 27-29.
“Not only is Parco Sempione a beautiful and popular park in Milan, it is located within close proximity to the Fiera Milano, making it more convenient for the participants this year,” said Denise Jones, business development manager, Uniqema. “Both the location and the late April date should provide a beautiful morning for the runners and walkers to participate in the event and contribute to a worthy charity.”
Uniqema has pledged a donation of €10 for every In-Cosmetics attendee participating in the charity event. The Run/Walk’s primary charity is the Look Good, Feel Better program, a free cancer support service for women living with the disease. To register, visit www.uniqema.com/pc.
The New Ideas 5K Run/Walk is an annual event that began in 2001 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Top finishers have come from Russia, Germany, the UK, South Africa and the U.S., according to executives. Registration info: Website: www.uniqema.com/pc.
