World Surfactants Congress Set For June 20-23 In Berlin

The sixth World Congress for Surface-Active Agents will be held June 20-23 in Berlin, Germany at the Internationales Congress Centrum. It is organized by the Comité Européen des Agents de Surface et leurs Intermédiaires Organique (CESIO), a division of the European Chemicals Federation (CEFIC). The Congress will include more than 100 presentations, focusing on raw materials and processing, structures and properties, industrial applications, household and personal care and environment, toxicology and regulatory affairs. Speakers include Professor Markus Antonietti of the Max-Planck Institute for Colloids and Interface Research, Professor and Henkel board chairman Ulrich Lehner, EU Commissioner Erkki Liikanen and BASF deputy executive board chairman Eggert Voscherau.
