Save Our Power Plants, Aveda’s Earth Month campaign for April 2005, is focused on the protection of endangered and threatened species, specifically plants. The company is encouraging consumers to make a difference by signing a petition to support the Endangered Species Act, and is hoping to collect more than 100,000 signatures from individuals around the world. Aveda’s worldwide goal is to raise $1 million for Earth Month partners working toward saving endangered and threatened plants.
During the past four years, Aveda has raised more than $3.5 million for Earth Month partner organizations working for biodiversity protection around the world.
