CCL Container Captures Nine Industry Awards

CCL Container recently took home a total of nine awards from three leading industry organizations for its innovative packaging. The New Jersey Packaging Executives Club (NJPEC) honored CCL Container’s packaging in multiple categories. The company’s aluminum aerosol packaging for Procter & Gamble’s Febreze Air Effects took top honors, winning the Package of the Year award. It also won the Gold award in the household industrial category, as well as the Students’ Choice award for packaging that utilized CCL’s Trimline bullet-shaped container.
CCL was also honored by NJPEC with the Technical Innovation award for Reckitt Benckiser’s Lysol Ready Brush packaging design, which features a toilet brush powered by an aerosol that produces a foaming cleanser. The brush also took the Silver award in the household industrial category.
The packaging design for Pittsburgh Brewing Company’s Iron City Beer won the Bronze award in the food and beverage category for its aluminum bottle that achieves and retains a cooled temperature more easily than glass packaging. CCL’s palm-sized aluminum aerosol design for Unilever’s Dove Foam conditioner received an honorable mention in the personal care category.
The Institute of Packing Professionals in Chicago also honored the company with the Ameristar package award for VPX Redline Fat Incinerator, a liquid supplement from Vital Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Davie, FL. This marks CCL’s third year winning an Ameristar award.
