Croda recently held a luncheon for employees to celebrate a successful 2004 and to thank them for their support and extra effort during the past few months. The company has been working on a change to a new business management system called SAP, which will integrate all of Croda’s business functions. Last year the company also welcomed the consolidation of several other Croda operations to its central Pennsylvania site. Universal, a plastics additives import business, relocated its U.S. sales and warehousing operations from three other states to Mill Hall, PA, and Beech Creek, PA. The Miami customer service operation was relocated to Mill Hall, PA.
In November, Croda’s new distribution center began operations in Beech Creek, PA, and now serves as the logistical center for storage and distribution of products manufactured at the Mill Hall facility and for Croda’s global import products.
In other news, Croda employees donated more than 80 toys to the Toys for Tots drive held during the holidays in Clinton County, PA. The company held a luncheon in December where employees could donate new, un- wrapped toys for children in need.
