Rochester, NY-based Diamond Packaging earned recognition in the 2004 AmeriStar Package Awards competition sponsored by the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP). Diamond Packaging competed against hundreds of entries from packaging and design firms from around the country to earn the AmeriStar award for the Amplify 3D display produced for L’Oréal USA/Matrix.
“We’re especially honored to have received this award,” said Harry Voss, president and chief executive officer, Diamond Packaging. “To have won against such great competition is a real achievement.”
L’Oréal USA/Matrix recently introduced two additions to its line of Amplify hair styling products. The company turned to Diamond Packaging to design and manufacture the display for this significant marketing campaign. Diamond created a unique counter display with a secondary rear panel that is glued to the fifth panel to create a striking 3D appearance. The panel is further enhanced by die cutting around the photograph of the models.
