November 22, 2005

Engergizer Holdings, Inc. won a patent infringement case filed by Gillette Co. in a German court.
The court ruled that the four-bladed Quattro razor made by Wilkinson Sword GmbH, Energizer’s German business, does not infringe on Gillette’s European patent for three-bladed progressive exposure. In addition to the ruling, Gillette was ordered to reimburse Energizer’s court costs.
