Extracts Announce Award Winners

The 16th semi-annual ExTracts show honored the Best New Product award winners and finalists in four new categories: Bath & Body, Beauty, Home Spa and Natural Product.
New York-based 4mula won Best of Show for its 4mula Barbox, a bar soap-preserving design with built-in leg extensions to prevent the bar from sitting in water in the soap dish.
In the Bath & Body category, Dayton, OH-based Skin, An Apothecary won for Suds, a line of products that include moisturizing body cleanser, shave cream, bubble bath and shampoo. The finalists were B. Selfish LLC and Cosefini.
The winner in the Beauty category was Syosset, NY-based Piaffe Beauty for its Velvet Body Créme. Vasanti Cosmetics and Nature’s Skin Care…Italy were the finalists.
Slatkin & Co., New York, took home the award in the Home Spa category for its Kabbalah candle line. Finalists in this category were Xela Aromasticks and The Laundress.
In the Natural Product category, New York based-Essence of Vali won for its EOV Botanical Eau de Parfum, the signature scent that blends eight plant essences for aromatherapy purposes. Intertrade Europe and Vermont Naturals were the finalists.
