Kopelman and Giuliani to speak At CTFA Annual Meeting

President and chief operating officer of Chanel, Inc., Arie Kopelman, and former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani will speak at the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association’s (CTFA) 2005 annual meeting, March 2-5, in Boca Raton, FL. Both will speak on Thursday, March 3 at the opening business session. Mr. Kopelman will discuss the state of the cosmetics industry and the current environment for retailing, while Mr. Giuliani focuses on leadership during crises. At “The Washington Report” session, CTFA senior staff will update attendees on scientific, legal and regulatory actions affecting the industry, including recent actions of the World Trade Organization, European Union and Food and Drug Administration. The session will also review CTFA activities throughout the year that helped maintain the industry’s strength and commitment to consumers.
