L’Oréal Launches Second Science

L’Oréal USA has started the application process for the second year of the L’Oréal USA for Women in Science Fellowship program which supports the aspirations of young women interested in pursuing careers in the life and physical sciences as well as math, engineering and computer science. However this year, the fellowship will be open to postdoctoral associates only.
L’Oréal USA will award five $20,000 postdoctoral fellowships, which will be announced in spring of 2005. A jury of mostly Women in Science North American Laureate winners will select the five honorees. Applications are due Oct 15. More info: www.lorealusa.com/forwomeninscience.
