L’Oréal Paris Patents Hair Care Composition

Patent No. US 6,805,856 B2: L’Oréal, Paris, researchers earned a patent for a method of reducing color loss in hair. It comprises applying at least one polydialkylsiloxane having at least one pendant alkyl moiety, said polydialkylsiloxane having a vapor pressure of at least 0.8 mmHg. at 25°C, to the hair in an amount effective to reduce color loss.
