National Starch and Chemical, Bridgewater, NJ, a member of the ICI Group, has agreed to sell its U.S., Canadian and European Vinamul emulsion polymers business to Celanese, a global chemicals company, for $208 million. Vinamul is a supplier of specialty emulsion polymers for the paper, nonwoven, textile, paint, adhesive and building industries.
