Noxzema Announces Winner Of Girl Search Contest

November 22, 2005

Noxzema and Ford Models chose 22-year- old Mia Rudledge, of Birmingham, AL, as the winner of Noxzema Girl Search, a nationwide campaign to discover the next fresh-faced “Noxzema Girl.” Ms. Rudledge follows in the footsteps of former “Noxzema Girls” including Courteney Cox Arquette, Carol Alt, Christie Brinkley, Cibill Shepherd and Rebecca Gayheart.
In June, finalists Melissa Largent, Jennifer Jenkins and Ms. Rudledge appeared in an advertisement in Cosmopolitan magazine urging America to log on to www.noxzema.com to vote for the next “Noxzema Girl.” Ms. Rudledge was chosen by a majority of votes.
Ms. Rudledge will receive a one-year, $25,000 Ford modeling contract, a walk-on role in the Emmy award-winning soap opera As the World Turns and an appearance in an exclusive Noxzema Girl Search advertisement in the September issue of Cosmopolitan.
“I am thrilled to have been chosen as the next Noxzema Girl,” said Ms. Rudledge. “I feel incredibly honored to be the new face of such a recognizable campaign and to add my name to such an impressive list of former Noxzema Girls. Entering the Noxzema Girl Search has been a terrific experience.”
