Pathways to Beauty and Well-Being, the first consumer exhibition and teaching program dedicated exclusively to women’s beauty and well-being products and services, announced a plan to provide financial support to two women’s charities: the Greater New York City Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and Dress for Success.
“It was always a given that we’d support at least one important women’s cause, but in our search for the right relationship, we were fortunate to indentify two, both of which will have a strong presence at Pathways,” said Suzanne Grayson, creator of Pathways to Beauty and Well-Being.
“These two charities embody Pathways’ mission: to enhance all facets of women’s lives, whether it is beauty, fitness health, wellness or careers and finances,” said Karen Crawford, group vice president and director of Pathways. “Helping these two charities helps us fulfill this commitment to women and keep our show promise of knowledge, empowerment and fulfillment.”
In addition to donating one dollar to each charity for each admission ticket sold, the event will feature a special retail environment offering visitors “guilt free” shopping. The Pathways Shoppe, located near the registration area of the Jacob Javits Center in New York, will offer only merchandise donated by exhibitors, with 100% of the proceeds going to the two causes.
Pathways to Beauty and Well-Being is set to take place at the Javits Center from Sept. 10-12. More info: Website: www.pathways2.com.
