Singapore ‘Love Potion’ Heads Overseas

SINGAPORE: Romancing Singapore EDP has been used in a government-backed campaign to get citizens in the “mood for love” and boost the city-state’s declining birth rate, according to industry sources. Now it will be exported to Asia, North America and Europe, according to Cosmetical Asia, marketer of Romancing Singapore.
The scents—a floral essence for women and a musky fragrance for men—were created by chemistry students from Singapore Polytechnic school and were launched during the country’s “romancing Singapore” campaign last year. The perfumes were so popular that Cosmetical Asia decided to market them globally. Each 50-ml bottle retails for $29.70.
