SOCMA Presents Awards For Corporate Excellence

The Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturers Association (SOCMA), Washington, DC, announcedits member recognition award winners for 2004. The awards were presented on Sept. 14 at SOCMA'ssecond annual Corporate Excellence conference. Award recipients included: Margaret Walker of DowChemical Co. and chair of SOCMA's Responsible Care task force for the 2004 Leadership award; StuNeedleman of Rhodia ChiRex Inc. and chair of the INFORMEX committee for the 2004 DistinguishedService award and Rick Kane of Rhodia, Inc., and chair of SOCMA's Employee and Process Safetycommittee for the 2004 Advocate of the Year award.
