Unilever teamed up with fashion designer Cynthia to unveil her Spring 2005 collection—Ms. Rowley’s first-ever, almost entirely machine washable clothing line. The collection premiered in September during New York’s Fashion Week. “With all the hi-tech fabrics and blends now available, plus advances in fabrics that were once dry-clean only, like linen and wool, all you need today is a washing machine and a detergent like All that gets out the most common stains,” Ms. Rowley insisted. The All detergent brand will also sport a new look of its own in 2005, according to Unilever executives.
