Wacker Chemical Achieves ISO Certification

Adrian, MI-based Wacker Chemical Corp. received ISO-14001:1996 environmental management system certification from the British Standards Institute (BSI).
The ISO-14001:1996 certificate recognizes Wacker’s combined excellence in quality and environmental management systems, executives said.
“Having the ISO-14001 certification is proof positive of our longstanding commitment toward operating a facility which complies with international standards for excellence in environmental management systems,” said Dirk Funke, president and chief executive officer. “It is indeed a credit to our dedicated employees and commitment by management in receiving this well-earned certification. It communicates a strong sense of value to our customers and in the community as well.”
