Blyth’s Purple Tree Launches in Canada

December 2, 2005

OAKVILLE, ONTARIO: Sue Warden, host and executive producer of Sue Warden Creative Decor and Sue Warden Craftscapes, along with author and creative consultant, Marie Browning, joined forces to launch a new business designed to inspire Canadian women. Purple Tree, Inc., the U.S.-based direct seller of creative projects, launched in October simultaneously in western and central Canada as Browning and Warden hosted the first Purple Tree events in Canada. Over 100 women attended the two events, where they completed a free Make ‘N Take (a simple, creative project) and had the opportunity to choose easy-to-complete projects such as jewelry, home decor, paper crafts, knitting and memory crafts.
“Purple Tree is thrilled to launch in Canada, especially with the talented team of Sue Warden and Marie Browning. They personify the Purple Tree goal of inspiring creativity and bringing women together,” said Jim Turner, Purple Tree Company experience advocate.
The Tampa, FL-based Purple Tree, Inc. markets a broad range of creative projects, including jewelry, memory/paper crafts, home decor and more through home parties and clubs. Purple Tree is a part of the Blyth, Inc. family, which designs, markets and distributes an array of candles, home fragrance products, decorative accessories, seasonal decorations and household convenience items.
