Isoflavone Derivatives Patented to Vyrex

Patent No. U.S. 6,958,156 B2: Vyrex Corporation, La Jolla, CA, has patented isoflavone derivatives. The isoflavone derivatives provide a topical formulation that includes a compound having the structure where R8, R7, R6, R5 and R4 are independently selected from the group consisting of H, OH, OMe, glucose, O-glucose, O-acetyl glucose, O-malonyl glucose, ZCOO and ZPO4; and with the provision that at least one of R8, R7, R6, R5 and R4 is ZCOO or ZPO4.
