NJPEC Declares Winners For Packages of the Year

The New Jersey Packaging Executives Club (NJPEC) has announced the winners of the 2005 NJPEC Package of the Year Awards.
Here’s a rundown of the winners: Package of the Year: Island Michael Kors, Estée Lauder, submitted by Cartondruck; Packaging Innovation: Quease Ease, Soothing Scents, submitted by HCT Packaging; Technical Merit: Coppertone Sport, Schering-Plough HealthCare Products, submitted by CCL Container; Visual Impact: Holiday 2005 Fragrance Gift Box, submitted by Chanel; Marketing Impact: Fructis Shampoo and Conditioner (Upsize Packaging), submitted by L’Oréal USA; Best Use of Stock Packaging: Lakota Topical Pain Reliever, HPI Health Products, submitted by Tectubes USA; and Student’s Choice: Trimspa, Trimspa, submitted by CCL Container.
In the color cosmetics category, Gold award: Prom Kit Palette (Punk & Princess Versions), Hard Candy Cosmetics, submitted by HCT Packaging; Silver: Sally Hansen 5 Minute French Manicure Pen Kit, Del Labs, submitted by Topline; Bronze: Holiday Super Treat, Clinique, submitted by Hirshhorn & Young Graphics, Inc.; and Honorable mention: Feisty Kitten Credit Card Compact, Urban Decay, submitted by HCT Packaging.
In fragrance, Gold award: Island Michael Kors, Estée Lauder, submitted by Cartondruck; Silver: Happy To Be, Clinique, submitted by Hirschhorn & Young Graphics; Bronze: Tag Body Spray, Men, Tag Fragrance, submitted by CCL Container; Honorable mention: Allure Sensuelle Eau De Parfum, submitted by Chanel; and Soul by Curve, Liz Clairborne Cosmetics, submitted by Standwill Packaging.
The household/industrial Gold award: Tide To Go, Procter & Gamble, submitted by Marietta Corporation; Gold award in graphics: Holiday 2005 Fragrance Gift Box, submitted by Chanel.
In the personal care sector, Gold award: Reverse Line, Rodan & Fields, submitted by Hirschhorn and Young Graphics, Inc.; Silver: Micro Solutions Refining Peel Program, submitted by Chanel; Bronze: Dermo Expertise Special Value, submitted by L’Oréal USA; and Honorable mention: Goodskin Line, Goodskin, submitted by Hirshhorn & Young Graphics, Inc.
