P&G Patents Personal Care Composition

Patent No. US 6,878,382 B2: Researchers at Procter & Gamble, Cincinnati, OH, patented a personal care composition that contains 5-35% of a hydrophobic gel comprising a cholesteryl derivative, an oil swelling clay material, a non-volatile liquid oil and a polar solvent, as well as a carrier which is substantially free of water, surfactant and lecithin.
