CasChem Announces ISO 9001:2000 Registration

Bayonne, NJ-based CasChem, a division of Rutherford Chemicals LLC, announced its ISO 9001:2000 registration. SGS Registration Services performed the assessment with the registration scope covering “the manufacturing of specialty chemicals, excluding element 7.3.” The ISO 9001:2000 registration process was conducted under the direction of Joe Serpe, quality manager for CasChem. Larry Slovin, CasChem’s vice president and general manager, credited Mr. Serpe and the CasChem team for defining and developing a quality management system that is process-oriented and focuses on continuous improvement for the manufacturing of specialty chemicals.
