HLL Opens New Plant in India

BAROTIWALA: Hindustan Lever Ltd (HLL) has opened a state-of-the-art detergent factory in Solan. The plant, along with its other plants in Northern India, will help HLL increase its annual turnover by 25%.
The new 22 acre plant will produce soap brands such as Pears, Lux International, Lifebuoy, Hamam, Liril and Rexona and will also produce Rim and Vim Bars. HLL has around 50% market share in the personal care products.
