IFF Announces 4Q And Full Year Results

International Flavors & Fragrances, Inc. reported fourth quarter 2004 sales totaling $468.2 million, a 1% decline from the prior year quarter. For the full year, sales exceeded $2 billion, up 7% from the previous year. Reported sales for 2004 were strongest in fragrances, led by a 13% increase in fine fragrance sales. Sales of aroma chemicals and fragrances used in functional products each increased 7% for the year.
