December 9, 2005

Leading male AP/Deo brand Old Spice continued its association with the fast-paced world of NASCAR with its first-ever Busch Series appearance. Joe Gibbs racing driver Tony Stewart, who has been sponsored by Old Spice for five seasons, drove the #33 Old Spice Chevrolet Monte Carlo during the Stater Bros. 300 at California Speedway on Feb. 26. “Old Spice has a longstanding history in the sport of racing and is thrilled to make a debut appearance in the Busch Series as a primary car sponsor,” said Car Stealey, brand manager at Old Spice. “As the leader in the men’s grooming category, working with a NASCAR champion like Tony Stewart is a perfect fit for the brand.”
