'L’Oréal: Jean-Paul Agon

'L’Oréal: Jean-Paul Agon will succeed chairman and CEO Lindsay Owens-Jones in the role of CEO next year. Laurent Attala will succeed Agon as president and CEO of L'Oréal USA on July 1. Marc Menesguen has been named as successor to Gilles Weil, who is retiring as the head of the luxury products division.
In an unrelated announcement, L’Oréal USA announced that Suzie Davidowitz has been promoted to senior vice president of corporate communications. She had been vice president of public relations for Lancôme. She will report to Rebecca Caruso, executive vice president of corporate communications and external affairs. In a related move, Kerry Diamond, beauty director of Harper’s Bazaar, has been appointed vice president of public relations for Lancôme, reporting to Edgar Huber, president of L’Oréal USA’s luxury product division.
