Over 3,000 Visit the 2nd SEPAWA Congress
l GERMANY: The 52nd SEPAWA Congress, in conjunction with the first European Detergents Conference and the Society of German Chemists (GDCh) was held October 12-14 in the Würzburg Congress Center, Würzburg, Germany. Visiting the 110 booths were more than 1,205 participants from 23 countries.
A highlight of the conference was a lecture by Prof. H.J. Bullinger, president of the Fraunhofer Institute, entitled “The Innovation Dilemma: Future Market and Job Prospects,” which can be downloaded at www.sepawa.com
“The SEPAWA Congress, along with the European Detergents Conference, is the most important industry event of its kind in Europe. We anticipate an increase of participants in the future, especially from other European countries. Since we are now offering simultaneous translation from German to English, we can expect an increase of international delegates for 2006,” explained Robert Fischer, SEPAWA press speaker.
