● Artificial Reality, Joico’s new spring 2006 collection, combines the aggressive attitude of very short hair with the soft, romantic look of long locks in a single multi-dimensional coiffure. The line integrates cut, styling and color to expose and define the face-shape by structuring hair up and away from the cheekbones, or styling it over the brow. Sharp silhouettes are reinforced with hair accessories, such as headbands to sweep hair away from the facial architecture. Asymmetrical shapes suggest shattered versions of classical geometric cuts, as though viewed through a prism or broken mirror. Contrasting color also punctuates each style. Artificial Reality displayable imagery, technical demonstrations and supporting products are available now at all participating Joico salons.
