The Soap and Detergent Association’s (SDA) Board of Directors has approved the applications of 16 companies in recent months. The companies include:
AlEn USA, the Houston-based U.S. subsidiary of Mexican cleaning products maker Industrias AlEn; American HomeHealth Inc., a St. Petersburg, FL-based producer of infection prevention products; Bayer MaterialScience LLC, producer of a number of chemical products; Cognis Oleochemicals LLC, based in Cincinnati, OH, U.S. operation of Cognis Oleochemicals Sdn. Bhd., a joint venture between Cognis Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG and Golden Hope Plantations Berhad; Commonwealth Soap & Toiletries Company, a soap and beauty products maker based in Fall River, MA; Galaxy Surfactants Ltd., an India-based manufacturer of surfactants and specialty chemicals; Glaconchemie GmBH, a Merseburg, Germany-based producer of glycerine; Invista, one of the world’s largest integrated fiber, resin and intermediates companies; The Laundress, Inc., a New York City-based maker of premium laundry and fabric care products designed for garment and home furnishing care; Method, a producer of household cleaning, personal care, and fabric care products; Nease Corporation, which was spun off
