Wet n Wild Joins Sun Safety Alliance to Keep Faces Fresh

July 10, 2006

Wet n Wild’s new skin care line, Fresh Face, has joined the Sun Safety Alliance (SSA) to raise awareness about the dangers of sun exposure. Wet n Wild’s membership with the SSA does not have an end date and will be renewed each year.
In its ongoing efforts to increase sun safety and superior skin care among teens, Wet n Wild will donate 1% of its annual Wet n Wild Fresh Face Skincare SPF product proceeds to the Sun Safety Alliance charity. Wet n Wild’s promotion team will also distribute flyers with helpful tips and advice for protecting skin from the sun, developed by the SSA, to consumers at all of their Beach Games events.
In return, the SSA will provide a DermaScan machine along with a DermaScan Technician to assess the skin health of consumers at several Wet n Wild Beach Games events, including The Longs Miramar Air Show in San Diego, October 13-15 and The Rite Aid Consumer Show in Louisville, November 11-12. The DermaScan is a machine developed to instantly screen a person’s skin conditions for sun damage, skin infections, pre-malignant cells, dry skin and excess oils.
