Seeking to enhance brand identity or personalize packaging? Need to safeguard your brand against tampering and counterfeiting? Want to learn more about RFID and smart packaging? These are just a few of the topics packaging professionals will be able to explore during the conference at Pack Expo, running from Oct. 30-Nov. 1, 2006 at Chicago’s McCormick Place. Produced by the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI), the conference will be held in conjunction with Pack Expo International 2006, being held Oct. 29-Nov. 2. The show, started in 1956, will celebrate its 50th Anniversary and will be co-located with the Process Expo and the Converting & Package Printing Expo.
The program is divided into five time periods each day, with four concurrent sessions planned for each time slot. Conference sessions are organized into several “tracks” including RFID Opportunities, Materials/ Containers Advances, Safety Issues, Management Strategies, Improving Operations, Brand Protection, Sustainability Strategies and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Each day’s program will also feature a keynote presentation from top executives from companies such as Sonoco Products Co., NatureWorks LLC and Wal-Mart.
