Mary Kay Selects Finetex As Supplier of the Year

October 4, 2006

● Finetex Inc. was recently honored by Mary Kay Inc. with the company’s supplier of the year award in the raw materials/ingredients category.
“Mary Kay Inc is privileged to honor Finetex with its 2005 Supplier of the Year award in the raw materials/ingredients category,” stated Lane Burtz, vice president, purchasing, package engineering & transportation, Mary Kay Inc. “Finetex is a superb model for outstanding performance regardless of the category. It has maintained perfect quality for more years than Mary Kay Inc. maintains its records. In 2005 it also achieved a remarkable 100% on-time delivery record, putting it in very rarified company among the total supplier base. We are delighted that we can honor Finetex and its employees.”
Finetex was acquired by Innospec Inc. last January, going from a family owned company to a subsidiary of a multinational chemical company.
“Our challenge in the first year was to preserve the high quality and service standards which have defined Finetex to our customers while preparing the company for growth through innovation and globalization. This award is a validation that we are on the right path,” said Phil Matena, president, Finetex Inc.
