Linda Carroll, color insight manager for Ampacet, unveiled AmpaVision 2008, a directional, global palette of 16 influential packaging colors based on global socio-economic trends and influences at the package of the year award presentation dinner. The palette is intended to provide guidance in creating compelling packaging to those who package cosmetics, personal care products, food and other consumer goods.
The color palette, derived from broad research into color influences, preferences and trends is intended to help users of color master batches create aesthetically pleasing packaging that meets the demands of upcoming color preferences. In addition to presenting the 2006 packaging of the year awards, the NJPEC award ceremony will present packaging excellence awards for outstanding color cosmetics, fragrance, food & beverage, personal care, promotional, pharmaceutical and graphics.
Ampacet works with consumer goods packagers to support color selection in brand launches or repositioning of current brands
