Clarins is reworking its color cosmetics line just in time for spring in order to capture a greater share of the makeup market. In terms of formula, particles have been micronized to lengthen their wear and on the packaging front, the new color compacts are elliptical, the signature red base had been made more translucent and the yellow-gold lids have been changed to white gold. For an added touch of elegance, each compact is also placed in a red suede sleeve.
Clarins will also launch a 20 SKU line, Instant Light, which officially launches in March, but will make its way into stores this month. To promote the new line, Clarins brought celebrity makeup artist Nick Barose on board. The brand also plans to launch its own website, next month.
