HONG KONG: In its 11th year, Cosmoprof Asia brought together 1,000 exhibitors from 35 countries to show off innovative products and the latest trends. Cosmoprof Asia launched an International Buyer Program to draw in a group of professional and prestige buyers to the business platform. The program was designed to create matches between targeted groups of buyers and prospective exhibitors worldwide in order to generate new business opportunities.
Thailand was honored as the focus country of the year due to its growing role in the international beauty business and increase in exhibition area.
Other highlights included Natural Health Fair and OMC International Youth Championship, a chance for stylists under the age of 23 to create the most trendy and technical styles to impress judges.
