Fashion retailer Scoop NYC launched women’s and kid’s fragrances in November, the first step in Scoop’s full-fledged entry in the beauty industry. Scoop teamed with fragrance producer Becker-Eshaya to develop the signature scent––Scoop NYC––a floral bouquet with pear blossom, tangerine and peony among other notes. A 60ml. women’s spray retails for $65, while an 11ml. roll-on sells for $45. A kid’s eau de toilette––Scoop Kids––comes in an 11ml. roll-on for $45. Scoop co-owner Stephanie Greenfield anticipates opening store-in-store beauty boutiques featuring Scoop beauty products and third-party brands by the end of 2007.
