Ascendia brands agreed to buy The Heal-ing Garden and Calgon brands and assets for $125 million. The two brands will complement the Lander and Lander Essentials brands that Ascendia currently owns, in addition to Mr. Bubble and Lander Kids.
The acquisition is expected to double Ascendia’s annual revenue to about $200 million. Ascendia could be obligated to pay up to an added $15 million in cash and issue up to an additional $5 million in subordinated debt based on certain earn-out provisions entitled to Coty.
